Ravindra Jadeja's wife and BJP MLA, Rivaba Jadeja, seemed upset when questioned about the allegations levelled by her father-in-law in a recent interview. At a public event, Rivaba was questioned about her father-in-law's explosive accusations as the latter claimed she was responsible for a rift in their family, especially between him and his son, Ravindra Jadeja.

Rivaba Jadeja, who is also a Bharatiya Janata Party MLA, lashed out at a reporter who brought up the question about her private life at a public event.

"Why are we here today? You can contact me directly if you want to know about it," Rivaba said in a viral that is being widely shared online.

Notably, Jadeja rubbished the claims made by his father, Anirudhsinh, of a strained relationship between them. He shared a post on his social media and called his father's interview scripted and urged his fans and followers not to trust anything that was said about him and hi wife. He said that attempts are being made to tarnish the image of his wife, who is a Member of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly from Jamnagar North Assembly constituency.

"The things mentioned in the dubious interview with Divya Bhaskar are meaningless and false. Those are one-sided comments that I deny them. The attempt to tarnish the image of my wife is improper and condemnable. I too, have a lot to say but it is better that I don't reveal those things in public," Jadeja wrote in his Instagram post.

Jadeja's father alleged that Rivaba was trying to create a rift within the family. He mentioned that the problems started within 2–3 months after Jadeja tied the knot with Rivaba in 2016. He revealed that there was nothing but hatred between the 2 families.

"Do you want me to tell you one truth? I have absolutely no relation with Ravindra and his wife, Rivaba. We don't call them, and they don't call us. The issues started after two or three months of their marriage."

"I currently live alone in Jamnagar, while Ravindra resides in a separate bungalow of his own. He lives in the same city, but I don't get to see him. I don't know what magic his wife has done on him."

"He is my son, and it burns my heart. I wish I hadn't got him married. It would have been better if he hadn't become a cricketer. We would not have to go through all this in that case," Jadeja's father said.

"Within three months of the marriage, she told me that everything should be transferred to her name. She created a rift in our family. She didn't want a family and desired an independent life. I could be wrong, and Naynaba (Ravindra's sister) could be wrong, but you tell me, how can all 50 members of our family be wrong? There's no relation with anyone in the family; there's just hate."

"I don't want to hide anything. We haven't even seen the face of our granddaughter in five years. Ravindra's in-laws manage everything. They interfere in everything. They are making merry now because they have got a bank," Jadeja's father added.
