The Ekana stadium in Lucknow was buzzing when MS Dhoni came on to bat during the LSG vs CSK clash. Quinton de Kock's wife, Sasha, has now revealed the sound level that was at the stadium once Dhoni walked to the middle via her Instagram story on April 19, Friday. Dhoni would produce a fine knock on the day to power CSK to 176.
Sasha shared a picture on her Instagram story revealing that the sound level had touched 95 decibels as shown on her smart watch. However, it was the message that followed that caught the eye of everyone. The smartwatch revealed that just 10 minutes at this sound level could can cause temporary hearing loss.
"Loud environment. Sound levels hit 95 decibels. Just 10 minutes at this level can cause temporary hearing loss," read the note on the smartwatch of Sasha de Kock.
Dhoni thoroughly entertained the crowd at the Ekana stadium with another whirlwind knock.
Dhoni had come in to bat with CSK at 141 for 6 in 17.5 overs. Dhoni would roll back the years once again as he scored 28 off just 9 balls to thrill the crowd and power CSK to 176 in their innings.
The CSK star got going with a boundary and then followed it up with a six. Dhoni's running between the wickets was also sensational as seen in the final over from Yash Thakur. Dhoni would then hit a 101 metre six that got the crowd on their feet. He would hit a couple more boundaries to finish off his day's work.
The knock was praised by Aaron Finch, who said that Dhoni was playing like a 22-year-old at the moment.
