India at Olympics Day 3 Schedule: Manu back in action, rifle shooters eye medals
India’s Manu Bhaker will be back in action on Monday after she won the bronze medal in the women’s 10m Air Pistol event on Sunday in the Paris Olympics 2024. On Day 3, the youngster will team up with Sarabjot Singh for the qualifying round of the 10m air pistol mixed team event. Rhythm Sangwan and Arjun Singh form the other Indian pair in the same event.
Prithviraj Tondaiman and Ramita Jindal will be in action in the Trap Men's Qualification Round and 10m Air Rifle Women's Final respectively. Arjun Babuta will look to win India’s second medal when he takes part in the 10m Air Rifle Men's Final. In badminton, Lakshya Sen, whose first win became null and void after Kevin Cordon pulled out due to injury, will face Julien Carraggi.
The pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty was supposed to be in action in the men’s doubles in badminton. However, the withdrawal of their opponents mean that they won't be taking the field on Monday. The Indian hockey team will face Argentina after they took down New Zealand in their opening match. Dhiraj Bommadevara, Tarundeep Rai and Pravin Ramesh Jadhav will take part in the quarterfinal of the archery men's team event.
