Hours after reports of Israeli strikes in Iran, Elon Musk on Friday made an apparent call for peace, through his X handle.
In a post, Musk wrote, "We should send rockets not at each other, but rather to the stars."

Musk's post also comes amid the growing tensions between Russia and Ukraine, and Israel and Hamas.
Israel attacked Iran late on Thursday, as Iranian state media reported early on Friday that its forces had destroyed drones, days after Iran launched a retaliatory drone strike on Israel.
A source told news agency Reuters the US was not involved but was notified by Israel before the attack.
Iran's Fars news agency reported three explosions were heard near an army base in the central city of Isfahan.
Meanwhile, an Iranian official told Reuters there was no missile attack and the explosions were the result of the activation of Iran's air defense systems.
