A woman and her daughter bravely fought off two armed men who forcibly entered their home in Telangana's Secunderabad with the intention of robbing them. The confrontation was caught on CCTV camera of the house.
Amita Mahnot and her daughter were at their home on Thursday, when two men, Sushil Kumar and Premchandra, forcibly entered their house, brandishing a pistol and demanding valuables from them.
One of the robbers had a weapon in his hand and was seen threatening the mother-daughter duo. However, Amita, skilled in martial arts, snatched the weapon, and, along with her daughter, thrashed the man and forced him out of the house.
CCTV video showed Amita and her daughter trying to catch one of the two robbers, Sushil, who was wearing a helmet, as he tried to get away. They kicked, pushed him to the ground and fought off, ultimately chasing him away out of their house.
A few men, seemingly locals, were later seen entering the house to help the mother-daughter duo but they themselves chased the other robber, Premchandra, out of their house.
Meanwhile, police also registered a case and initiated an investigation into the matter.
