As the announcement of the Union Budget 2024 is going to be held soon, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday gave his statement in the Parliament session over the financial budget: “The budget will decide the direction for the next 5 years of this term.”

While speaking to the media, PM Modi said, “It is a matter of pride that after 60 years, a government has come to power for the third time and will present the first budget for the third time... I have been giving guarantees to the people of the country, and our mission is to bring this to the ground. This budget is important for Amrit Kaal.

Today’s budget will decide the direction for the next 5 years of our term. This budget will also become a strong foundation for our dream of ‘Viksit Bharat’.” He said that it’s a proud moment for the NDA alliance to form the government for the third time in the nation and to present the third Union budget. He added that today’s budget is going to be a very important step for the further five years of planning, and it will be helpful for the ‘Amrit Kaal.’

PM Modi even said that he is pleased to know that India is becoming one of the fastest-growing economies in the world and establishing a powerful image in international countries. “It is a matter of pride for everyone that India is one of the fastest-growing economies. There is a positive outlook; opportunities are at their peak. It is an important milestone in the development journey of Bharat,” he quoted.

He even requested all the opposition parties to work for the benefit and growth of the country without having objections and pointing out mistakes. Mentioning that the Parliament has been facing disturbances since January, PM Modi asked all the parties to “rise above party lines and dedicate themselves to the country.”.

He simply identified that all the other parties can play games and interfere in the decisions of the government in the next election year, which is going to be held in 2029, but till then, let’s be supportive of the decisions that will be made for the benefit of the country and the people residing in it.

He said, “I would like to request all the MPs of the country that from January till now we have fought as much as we had to, but now that period is over, the public has given its verdict. I would like to ask all the parties to rise above party lines, dedicate themselves to the country, and use this dignified platform of Parliament for the next 4.5 years. In the election year of January 2029, you can play any game, but till then, we should participate for the empowerment of the farmers, youth, and country.”

The Prime Minister addressed the media and made a promise that Budget 2024 will play a major role in the ‘Viksit Bharat’ yojana.
