Lawrence Bishnoi, who is in the news over his threats to actor Salman Khan and after his gang claimed responsibility for the murder of senior NCP leader Baba Siddique, is in the crosshairs of rival gangster Kaushal Chaudhary, who is in Bhonsi jail in Haryana. Kaushal Chaudhary, the leader of the Bambiha gang, has prepared a plan to eliminate Lawrence Bishnoi and his gang members.
The plan came to light after two shooters belonging to the Bambiha gang were arrested by the Delhi Police Special Cell for opening fire at a businessman's house in north Delhi's Rani Bagh on October 26. Kaushal Chaudhary was the mastermind of the incident. Sources said he wanted to strengthen his gang by raising money through extortion, so that he could kill Lawrence Bishnoi.
Kaushal Chaudhary's aide Pawan Shokeen, who is based in California's Sacramento city in the US, had ordered both the shooters to do a recce of the businessman's house in Delhi and open fire.
After the firing, the businessman was asked to pay a ransom of Rs 15 crore or face dire consequences and sources said he was ready to pay the amount.
Kaushal Chaudhary is very much aware that if he is not able to kill Lawrence Bishnoi, he will be killed. To exert his dominance over the Bishnoi gang, Kaushal Chaudhary built the Bambiha gang for years and sent Pawan Shokeen to the US to take care of the gang's operations there.
Interestingly, Lawrence Bishnoi, who is in Gujarat's Sabarmati jail, told the NIA during questioning in the past that Kaushal Chaudhary was on his hit list. According to NIA sources, Lawrence Bishnoi wants to kill Kaushal Chaudhary at any cost as he believes that his gang could be challenged by the Bambiha gang.
Kaushal Chaudhary, who was deported from Thailand and brought to India in 2019, is a resident of Gurugram. He has serious murder charges lodged against him. The NIA has tightened the noose around him and raided his gang's hideouts several times.
In a social media post in 2022, Kaushal Chaudhary had vowed to take revenge for the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala, which was claimed by Lawrence Bishnoi.
