A day after Narendra Modi and 71 ministers of the new coalition government took oath, here’s a look at the portfolios assigned in NDA 3.0

Narendra Modi took oath as Prime Minister for a record third term after the NDA won 293 of the 543 seats in the 2024 Lok Sabha election. The BJP, however, was short of the majority mark in the Lok Sabha on its own, winning 240 seats. The magic number in the Lok Sabha is 272.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with along with 71 ministers of the new government, took oath on Sunday. Of these, thirty were inducted as Cabinet ministers, five as Ministers of State with Independent Charge, and 36 as Ministers of State.
