Former Delhi Minister and jailed Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Manish Sisodia was on Monday granted permission by the Rouse Avenue Court to meet his ailing wife once a week in custody parole.

In his application, Sisodia had sought permission to meet his wife twice every week.

Sisodia was last allowed to meet his wife in November 2023.

According to Sisodia's application, his wife had been suffering from multiple sclerosis for the past 20 years.

Manish Sisodia was arrested in February 2023 in connection with the alleged liquor policy scam.

His bail applications have consistently been denied, with the Supreme Court recently rejecting his plea on the grounds of an established money trail in the case.
