In an unfortunate incident, adult film star Sophia Leone died at the age of 26. Reportedly, she was found unresponsive when her family tried to connect with her over a call, according to The Daily Mail. Mike Romero released information about it on GoFundMe. The case is currently under investigation.
Sophie’s stepfather confirmed her death on the funding page, “On behalf of her Mother & Family, It is with a heavy heart that I have to share the news of our beloved Sophia’s Passing. The Sudden loss of Sophia has left her family and friends devastated and in shock.” A GoFundMe posted early Saturday morning by her stepfather Mike Romero shared the news of Leone’s passing and asked her supporters to send money for her funeral expenses, as well as expenses related to an investigation into her death. Romero said Leone was found in her apartment on March 1, and that the investigation into the cause of her death was still ongoing.
“Sophia was a beloved Daughter, Sister, Grand Daughter, Niece and Friend. She had a deep love for all animals, specifically her 3 pets,” Romero wrote in the description of the GoFundMe. “She enjoyed traveling and always found ways to make everyone around her smile.” Romero has already raised almost $6,000, nearly half of his goal, as of Saturday afternoon on behalf of Veronica Lopez. “Sophia will be deeply missed but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her,” Romero wrote. “May she rest in eternal peace.”
In February, Adult film star Kagney Linn Karter died by suicide. As reported by TMZ, her friends shared the heartbreaking news on social media and left everyone shocked. Reportedly, Kagney died at her residence in Ohio last week.
On behalf of Karter’s mother, Tina, a GoFundMe was started by the actress’ friends who shared the death news and wrote, “Unfortunately, despite all of her many impressive accomplishments and talents, Kagney struggled with mental health issues as the years passed by.”
The friend further opened up about Karter’s struggle with mental health and added, “Even in her darkest days, however, she still showed up to the studio, always ready to learn, contribute, better herself in whatever small way she could manage.”
