The “Switch to Android" app will simplify the process of transferring data from an iPhone to an Android device. Currently, the only method to transfer all of your data from an iPhone to an Android phone is to back it up on Google Drive and then download it again on the new phone. This, on the other hand, just backs up your most critical data and images, leaving out any apps or other items for which the user did not provide a direct command.In the code of Android's official Data Restore Tool version 1.0.382048734, the study discovered clues of the "Switch to Android" app. The software is similar to Apple's equivalent named "Move to iOS." According to the report, the software will function on your Android phone's local Wi-Fi network. On the iPhone, the user must join to the new network, after which the data will be transferred between the two applications. The report also reveals that with the addition of a "Switch to Android," much of the text of the Data Restore Tool has been modified to imply that users' apps may be transferred from an iPhone to an Android.While it's nice to hear that an app is on the way to ease the transition from an iPhone to an Android phone easier for iPhone owners, it's still unclear how the software will function. It's also unclear when the "Switch to Android" app will be available on the Apple App Store, but given that Apple's "Move to iOS" app has been available for more than five years, it should happen soon.
