A couple invited the ire of the internet for exhibiting “irresponsible” behaviour towards their baby daughter at a party. The short clip, originally posted by content creator Pari Soni, has gone viral as several social media users reposted the video while slamming Pari and her husband in no uncertain terms.

The couple, during the party, entered the venue while pushing a decorated pram of sorts on which their baby daughter was seated. Fireworks set off upon their entry and moments later, Pari was hurt due to a tiny piece of burning material.

Her husband immediately consoled her as both, in the meantime, seemingly ignored the child who was crying as a result of the accident.

An elderly woman immediately rushed to the spot and picked up the child from the pram to protect her from a possible mishap.

“Bas thodi si galti ho gai but khush hoon ki bhagwaan ne meri beti ki raksha ki. Please royal entry mein fire entry mat karwaye specially baby ki party mein (Just a little mistake happened but I am happy that God protected my daughter. Please do not opt for fire entry in royal entry, especially at a baby's party),” reads the caption of Pari’s post.

The internet, however, refused to buy the explanation that Pari offered as the couple found themselves at the receiving end of social media.

“Showoff, dangerous, immature and irresponsible parents in my books,” a comment reads. Here’s another: “Once a wise man said, Every child deserves parents, but not all parents deserve children.”

As the video went viral, Pari responded to an Instagram user, requesting people to refrain from “spreading negativity” with respect to her video. She claimed that her only intention behind posting the video was to “alert” people regarding the hazardous incident.
