In a bid to eradicate Child Begging, the Indore district Administration has launched an initiative under which it is Offering a Reward of Rs 1,000 to anyone with Information on Child Beggars.
Indore District Collector said the initiative was part of the several steps it had taken "to free the city from Beggars".
"Now, those giving information about them will get a Reward of Rs 1,000. CCTVs will also keep an eye on all traffic intersections," he said while making the announcement of the initiative.
The collector said the information could be shared by calling the authorities or sending a message.
The latest initiative comes a month after Indore was named the cleanest city in India for the seventh consecutive time in the 'Swachh Survekshan Awards 2023'. Surat also jointly occupied the top spot.
