With global leaders coming together to discuss solutions while maintaining strategic relations, the 17th G20 Summit will take place from November 15.
Interestingly, what has caught everybody's attention is the U.S. and China, as President Joe Biden is all set to meet Chinese leader Xi Jinping in person today for the first time since taking office, to have a discussion on myriad of issues including U.S. concerns over Taiwan, Russia's war in Ukraine and North Korea's nuclear ambitions on top of his agenda.
It is to be noted that the meeting comes amid both the countries sharing soar relations over U.S. stance on Taiwan. Also, the United States has made its position very clear in terms of Russia's invasion of Ukraine following the Biden's decision to not to meet his Russian Counterpart in the upcoming G20 summit.
The two will meet on the Indonesian island of Bali ahead of the annual Group of 20 (G20) summit gathering leaders of the world's major developed and emerging economies.
As per the White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan, the meeting could run for two hours or more, and Biden would be "totally straightforward and direct" in the conversation.
All eyes on what these two countries are holding on, despite the fact that both the leaders are having stiff competition as who to become World's largest economy.
