A list of reasons pops into one's mind when they think about flights being delayed. However, a child throwing a tantrum for not wearing a seat belt is not one of them. In a flight in Columbia, a ten-year-old boy was removed from the plane after he refused to buckle up during the takeoff.

The exasperating incident occurred aboard a short-haul Latam flight in Colombia after the indolent child refused to pay any attention to crew members instructions or to his parents' pleadings.

According to the eyewitnesses, the boy's mood swing delayed the flight's takeoff for an hour.

The whole episode was caught on camera and posted on social media. In the video, an agitated flyer in the background can be heard yelling "remove him" at the crew members, while the other shouts "do something."

As the flyers were getting agitated, a crew member said, "Dear passengers, we inform you that if the flight regulations are not complied with, we cannot start the flight. They were not complied with, we had to return."

“Now we are waiting for the passengers who do not comply with the regulation to please disembark,” she added.

According to local reports, after an hour, security arrived and removed the boy along with his dad.
