The Bengaluru airport authorities have revoked the new fee structure, which mandated private and commercial vehicles to pay an amount to access the airport premises.

The development comes hours after it was notified that the travel to and from Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru would become expensive beginning Monday.

The notification mandated commercial vehicles, including those operated by cab aggregators such as Ola and Uber, to pay an entry fee of Rs 150 for up to seven minutes.

The charge would increase to Rs 300 if these vehicles exceeded the seven-minute mark, it said.
