Anant Ambani, the youngest son of billionaire industrialist Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant, daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant, tied the knot in a glitzy ceremony at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai on Friday.
The 'wedding of the decade' witnessed a confluence of opulence, tradition, and celebrity glamour, with global icons, Bollywood celebrities, and political dignitaries gracing the occasion.
US television star Kim Kardashian and her sister Khloe, Nigerian rapper Rema, former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair, and global business tycoons including Saudi Aramco CEO Amin Nasser, Samsung Electronics chairman Jay Lee, and GSK plc chief executive Emma Walmsley were among the attendees.
Nearly the entire top tier of Bollywood actors were present, including Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Tiger Shroff, and Varun Dhawan, many accompanied by their families. Southern superstars Rajinikanth, Ram Charan, and Mahesh Babu also led the southern contingent.
The event also attracted a host of Indian cricketers, from legends like Sachin Tendulkar and Mahendra Singh Dhoni to former great Krish Srikkanth and current stars Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, and Suryakumar Yadav.
Three events will be held after Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani’s wedding: 'Shubh Aashirwad' on July 13, 'Mangal Utsav' or the wedding reception on July 14, and another reception party on July 15, in Mumbai.

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant hosted two pre-wedding parties ahead of their wedding: a grand cruise party from Italy to France from May 29 to June 1, and an elaborate pre-wedding gala in Jamnagar in March, attended by 1,000 guests including celebrities, sportspersons, and industrialists.
