On July 13, former US President Donald Trump survived an assassination attempt due to Lord Jagannath's divine intervention, as he offered help to devotees, and Lord returned the favor to him by saving him from the attack, said an International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) spokesperson.

48 years ago, in 1976, Trump was said to be associated with the first Rath Yatra, where he helped the devotees. On Saturday, after 48 years, when the world celebrated Rath Yatra again, Trump was attacked, but he survived the assassination attempt with some minor injuries as Lord Jagannath returned the favor, Radharam Das, the ISKCON Spokesperson, said.

ISKCON Claims Lord Jagannath Saved Trump From Assassination Attempt

In July 1976, Donald Trump offered help to Iskcon devotees by providing his train yard for the free construction of raths. On July 13, when the world celebrated the 9-Day Jagannath festival, Trump survived the attack with an injury to his right ear. “Due to Lord Jagannath's divine intervention,” Das wrote on X.

Additionally, Das said that nearly 48 years ago, when the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) was planning to organize the first Rath Yatra in New York, Donald Trump, the former US President, was the only hope, as every effort went in vain. Trump was the person who offered help to Krishna devotees. The help offered by Trump to devotees was returned by Lord Jagannath as a favor during an election rally in Pennsylvania when Trump was attacked, but he survived with some minor injuries.
