Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for the release of his third movie of the year – Dunki. Days ahead of the film’s release, King Khan visited Maa Vaishno Devi’s temple. He was spotted at the holy shrine in the wee hours of Tuesday, December 12. In a video that surfaced on social media, SRK was seen hinding his identity with a pair of black glasses and a hooded jacket of the same colour.
Sharing the video on its official X handle, news agency PTI wrote, “Bollywood actor @iamsrk visited Mata Vaishno Devi shrine earlier today.” Watch the video here:
This is the third time the year that Shah Rukh Khan visited Vaishno Devi. He visited the sacred temple even before the release of Pathaan and Jawan earlier this year.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan’s visit to Vaishno Devi comes at a time when everyone is eagerly waiting for his much-awaited movie, Dunki. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, Dunki also stars Boman Irani, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar and Anil Grover, besides Shah Rukh Khan. The film marks the first collaboration between superstar Shah Rukh Khan and filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani. Three songs from the film have already been released and are being widely loved by the audience. These are – Lutt Putt Gaya, Nikle The Kabhi Hum Ghar Se and O Maahi.
Dunki is schedule to hit theatres on December 21. This means that the film will clash at the box office with Prabhas’ Salaar.
It was recently revealed that more than 1,50,000 fans, registered with King Khan’s fan club, SRK Universe, are uniting to watch the film on its opening day in India. The fan club shared their extensive plans for Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki on social media. A source cited by Bollywood Hungama also claimed that SRK Universe alone is put together 1000 shows worldwide, with over 600 scheduled in India. Besides SRK Universe, SRK has two other major fan clubs – SRK Warriors and King SRK FC – organising first-day fan shows across the country.
