Grammy-nominated rapper and singer Travis Scott was arrested on Friday at Paris' luxury Georges V hotel after a heated altercation with a security guard, the French prosecutor's office said.
Travis Scott, 33, was arrested after the police was called to the hotel early Friday, August 9, to break up the fight between the 'Fein' singer and a security guard, according to a statement from the Paris public prosecutor's office.
The hotel security guard had intervened in an ongoing altercation between Travis and his own bodyguard. While further details about the incident have not been released, the police are still investigating the matter, the statement added.
Travis was in Paris for the ongoing 2024 Olympics. He attended the US rally against Serbia in the men's basketball semifinal on Thursday night.
For the unversed, in June 2024, Travis Scott was allegedly arrested for 'disorderly intoxication and trespassing' charges after a disturbance on a yacht in Florida, reported CNN.
