Ira Khan, the daughter of Aamir Khan, married her longtime partner, Nupur Shikhare, in Mumbai on Wednesday, January 3. The couple registered their marriage in the company of close friends and family. Ira was seen in traditional attire for the ceremony, while Nupur opted for a casual athleisure style.
NUPUR SHIKHARE AND IRA KHAN ARE MARRIED
Following the completion of their marriage registration, they posed for photographs for the paparazzi. For this, Nupur switched to a dark blue sherwani ensemble and joined Ira and his father-in-law, Aamir Khan.
Ira is Aamir's daughter from his first wife, Reena Dutta. The couple also have a son, Junaid Khan, who will soon be making his Bollywood debut.
ABOUT IRA-NUPUR'S RESGISTRY MARRIAGE
The event took place at Taj Lands End in Bandra, Mumbai. The couple also hosted a reception late in the day for their close friends and family. They will then leave for Udaipur, where a grand wedding is planned. It will take place on January 8.
Ira and Nupur's Udaipur wedding will be followed by a grand reception in Mumbai on January 13. The starry reception is expected to be attended by the who's who of Bollywood.
