'Bigg Boss OTT 2' finale is taking place today, August 14. The reality show was initially planned to have a run of six weeks on JioCinema. Due to a good response from the audience, it got an extension of two weeks. Finally, today, August 14, it came to an end with the grand finale. After surviving for more than 50 days in the Bigg Boss house, Elvish Yadav emerged as the winner! He took home the coveted trophy and a hefty cash prize of Rs 25 lakh!
Elvish Yadav entered the Bigg Boss OTT 2 house as a wildcard contestant. Even though he entered the house late, he managed to hog the limelight and hold the attention of the viewers. Elvish garnered immense support from his fans through voting. He managed to capture the hearts of the audience. In the early trends, too, he had been leading the voting list. He led the voting with 48 per cent of the votes going in his favour. Elvish Yadav is the first wildcard contestant to win Bigg Boss trophy. He has indeed created history! Meanwhile, Abhishek Malhan is the first runner-up of BB OTT 2.

Aashika was evicted from the Salman Khan-hosted show on July 30. The house witnessed a double elimination on August 6, leading to the eviction of Avinash Sachdev and Jad Hadid. On August 9, a surprise elimination took place and Jiya Shankar was evicted.
