Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh has struck gold again after he appeared on Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show. On June 20, the singer shared a behind-the-scenes video on Instagram where he is seen expressing his pride in being the first Punjabi artist to appear on the show and perform live in front of the audience.

Diljit Dosanjh performed his renowned tracks 'G.O.A.T' and 'Born To Shine' on Jimmy Fallon's The Tonight Show. Several videos featuring the singer's electrifying performances were shared by Jimmy Fallon, Diljit and other social media pages.

On June 20, the singer-actor shared a BTS video where he can be seen rehearsing for his performance, expressing his happiness. At one point of time in the video, Diljit mentioned how he is ecstatic to break the stereotype of being the first Punjabi to take over the stage and perform in front of the audience of the show. Calling it a proud moment, he said, “Punjabiiiiii aaa gyeee oyeeee (Punjabi’s have arrived).” He thanked the divine blessings and later posed with the show’s logo in his performance outfit.

In his performance on the show, Diljit added a twist as he tweaked the lyrics of 'G.O.A.T' and sang, "Hollywood vich jine stars hai unade vich baitha sardar goriye". The original lyrics referred to Bollywood and Khans. Following his performances, Diljit paused for a moment and ended with the line 'Mein hun Punjab' from the track 'Ishq Mitaaye' from his film 'Chamkila'.
