Britney Spears is in the news after reports of her exiting the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles wrapped in a blanket and holding a pillow to her chest went viral. She reacted to the news reports and wrote that she had twisted her ankle. Paramedics were called, and she was escorted out of the hotel barefoot. Many international publications claim that she had an intense fight with her boyfriend, Paul Richard Soliz, and 'screamed out of control in the hallway of her suite'. This has caused concerns about her mental health.
Daily Mail, in its report, claimed that Spears may have hurt her leg during the altercation. However, she did not get into the ambulance and left with Soliz.
In a note on Instagram, Spears wrote, "Just to let people know...the news is fake!!! I would like respect at this time for people to understand I am getting stronger everyday!!! (sic)."
In another post, she shared videos of her swollen ankle and wrote that 'her mom was involved'. She also mentioned that she 'can't stand her'.
Her caption read, "I know my mom was involved !!! I haven’t talked to her in 6 months and she called right after it happened before the news being out !!! I was set up just like she did way back when !!! I wish I had grandparents !!! I can’t stand her !!! I honestly don’t care I will say it!!! Psss this man is wonderful !!! He’s like a father to me and he got me through last night !!! I adore you and admire you mister Mathew !!! (sic)."
Los Angeles' fire department official, Brian Humphrey, told Page Six, that an ambulance was called to the hotel. "At 1:00 a.m. an ambulance arrived at the premises. I can confirm no one was transported. Services left the scene at 1:17 a.m. The police department were not called," he said.
After the photos of her from the hotel went viral, many raised concerns about her mental health.
Daily Mail reported that Spears and Soliz had a 'short fling' and that she was not aware of his criminal past. Their report read, "Paul notably has multiple felonies, according to court documents, such as possession of a fire arm in December 2022 when he was employed by Britney. Also in September 2023, Soliz was seen at the San Fernando Superior Court after allegedly violating his probation."
This incident brought back memories of Britney Spears being admitted to the psych ward of Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in 2008.
