The Supreme Court on Tuesday issued notice to the National Testing Agency (NTA) on a petition seeking the cancellation of the National Entrance and Eligibility Test—Undergraduate (NEET-UG) 2024 over the alleged paper leak.
While seeking a response from the NTA, a vacation bench of Justices Vikram Nath and Ahsanudin Amanullah posted the matter on July 8.
"It is not that simple that because you have done it, it is sacrosanct. Sanctity has been affected, so we need answers," Justice Amanullah told the counsel representing the National Testing Agency. "How much time do you want? Immediately after the re-opening? Otherwise, the counseling will start." Justice Amanullah told the NTA's counsel.
This is a developing story. It will be updated.
