Jesus Christ Just Got Verified On Twitter! Has A Blue Tick Now!

A blue tick on Twitter so far was a mark of verification and authenticity. But now with the Twitter blue tick literally selling at $8, a great deal of fake accounts with the genuine blue tick mark have popped up. Even Jesus Christ got one.

Twitter Blue Subscription plan is now launched. In this new plan, anyone can get a verified Twitter account by paying a subscription fee of $8. After the rollout of this new feature Twitter is seeing a steep rise in fake accounts impersonating personalities with verified blue ticks.

For example, people have started posting as former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair, former US President George W. Bush and even Jesus Christ with a verified Twitter account. A blue tick on Twitter so far was a mark of verification and authenticity. But now with the Twitter blue tick literally selling at $8, a great deal of fake accounts with the genuine blue tick mark have popped up.

Before the takeover, Elon Musk claimed that Twitter was ridden with bots/fake accounts, and hence he did not want to close the $44 million deal. But now, Twitter is ridden with a host of users impersonating major brands and celebrities, even God!

Not just Christ, guess who's back on Twitter too? It's Musk's old pal Donald Trump! Just not the real one.

Twitter has been doing dumb things lately but to justify that, Twitter's new boss Elon Musk has already given a statement.

Please note that Twitter will do lots of dumb things in coming months. We will keep what works and change what doesn't.
