New Delhi: We are thrilled to announce that Jaano Junction has won five ‘The Future of News’ Awards, on Thursday, 14 December, at New Delhi.
A national level award function, ‘The Future of News’ Conference and Awards is curated by afaqs! and meant to recognise and reward the best of News on TV and online video.
"Apart from the regular categories, the Awards also have a number of unusual categories which seek to reflect the changing shape of news," afaqs! wrote on its website.
Across India, all major media publishing houses participated in the event. The likes of Times Group, The Quint, TV9, Bharat24 etc. also participated in the awards.
Nominated in six categories, Jaano Junction has been recognised by receiving a total of five awards that include two gold, one silver and two bronze.

1. Best Mobile Phone Story (English) - Gold (Week In Reel)
2. Best Mobile Phone Story (Hindi) - Silver (Ye Threads Kya Hai)
3. Best Mobile Phone Story (Hindi) - Bronze (Dead As A Dodo)
4. Best Breakfast Show - Gold (Train of Thought)
5. Best Coverage of Social Issues - Bronze (Sarqeerstic Enough?)
