India batting great Sachin Tendulkar was dismissed by Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Faruqui in an Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) 2024 match between Khiladi XI and Master's XI at the Dadoji Kondadev Stadium in Thane. The ISPL brought together both the entertainment industry and cricketing personalities, with teams led by Sachin Tendulkar and Akshay Kumar. Stand-up comedian and Bigg Boss winner Munawar Faruqui garnered attention with his medium-pace bowling.
During the 5th over of the match, Tendulkar, who had already scored a quick-fire 30 runs from 16 deliveries, faced the second delivery of Munawar's first over. Attempting to hit a delivery outside the off-stump, Tendulkar mistimed the shot and was caught at gully by wicketkeeper Naman Ojha.

Earlier, Sachin had also performed the hook-step of the Oscar-winning song, Naatu-Naatu with Akshay Kumar, Ram Charan and Suriya. ISPL is a T10 cricket tournament, consisting of 6 teams owned by actors from the Hindi and South industries.
