Tennis star Sania Mirza shared a cryptic quote post on her Instagram stories, an excerpt from which reads, “Divorce is hard.” The post has added more fuel to the speculations of rumours of her divorce with Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik.

The quote that Sania shared has profound lines and was first shared by an Instagram page named healing_out.loud.

“Marriage is hard. Divorce is hard. Choose your hard. Obesity is hard. Being fit is hard. Choose your hard. Being in debt is hard. Being financially disciplined is hard. Choose your hard. Communication is hard. Not communicating is hard. Choose your hard. Life will never be easy. It will always be hard. But we can choose our hard. Pick wisely (sic),” reads the quote that Sania shared on her Instagram stories.

“When something disturbs the peace of your heart, let it go,” is the caption of another post that Sania shared on January 8.

Sania, in fact, has also deleted most of her recent pictures with Shoaib Malik from her Instagram.

Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik’s separation rumours have been making headlines since November 2022. The conversation, however, died down after Sania and Shoaib shot together for the show, ‘The Mirza Malik Show’, and he expressed that he missed Sania during Eid

The rumours, however, resurfaced in 2023 when the Pakistani cricketer updated his Instagram bio and removed the part that read: “Husband to a Superwoman @mirzasaniar.”

Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik got married in 2010.
