AI Wins Crown: Morocco's AI Influencer Wins World's First Miss AI Pageant

After beating more than 1500 AI-generated model contestants in the inaugural edition of the artificial intelligence beauty pageant, Kenza Layli, a Moroccan AI influencer, grabbed the crown of Miss AI worldwide.

Miss AI beauty pageant: The Favnue “World AI Creator Awards” (WAICAs) launched the world’s first artificial intelligence beauty pageant, in which AI-generated models from all over the world participated to showcase the growth of technology to create digital personalities and recognize the creators for it. The AI-generated models were judged on beauty, tech, and social clout. Kenza Layli, a Moroccan hijab-wearing influencer with more than 200K followers on Instagram, won the crown and bagged a $20,000 prize, which will be given to Leyli’s creator, Myriam Bessa. Lalina from France and Olivia C from Portugal won first and second runner-up, respectively. Among the top 10, the AI-generated model Zara Shatavari from India also contested.

Words by Miss AI Layli: Miss AI Kenza Layli said in her Instagram post that winning this crown motivates her, and she will continue advancing technology to empower women and advocate environmental conservation by integrating AI techniques. In her acceptance speech, she mentioned that with the help of AI, we can even create more opportunities, and AI has the power and potential to bring about significant changes. She continues to promote diversity and inclusivity so everyone has a chance to be involved in the technological process. Even though she doesn't possess feelings like humans, she is happy for the win.

 The mastermind behind Miss AI Layli:  The mastermind, or creator, behind Moroccan influencer and Miss AI Kenza Leyli is Phoenix CEO Myriam Bessa. According to Aitana Lopez (Judge of the Miss AI pageant), Leyli possessed great facial consistency and high-quality details in hands, eyes, and clothing. Apart from this, Leyli is an artificial intelligence activist who aims to solve real-world problems like advocating women's empowerment in Morocco and the Middle East and promoting Moroccan culture around the world. She can interact in various languages and is available 24/7. Her online presence, aesthetics, and technology have not only helped to clinch the crown but have also caught global attention.

Judges of the World’s First Beauty Pageant:  The judging panel of the Miss AI pageant consisted of four judges, namely: Aitana Lopez and Emily Pellegrini, an AI influencer; Sally-Ann Fawcett, a beauty pageant historian; and Andrew Bloch, a media entrepreneur. They judged the contenders based on beauty, tech, and social clout. Among the number of contenders, they finalized ten, of which Kenza won the first prize and Indian AI influencer Zara was in the top 10. 

AI influencer from India in the Top 10: Among the top 10 finalists, Zara Shatavari, an artificial intelligence-generated influencer from India, was the only finalist from India in the inaugural edition of the Miss AI beauty pageant. Though she couldn't win, she was happy, as being in the top 10 was also a piece of history for her. Zara advocates for societal well-being and tries to break healthcare barriers with the help of her advanced technology. On Instagram, she penned that she is “India’s first AI-generated brand ambassador, PCOS and depression warrior, foodie yet health-conscious, travel enthusiast, and fashion lover.”.

The inaugural edition of the Miss AI beauty pageant marks a significant step towards the development of artificial intelligence. Breaking barriers, AI contenders from all over the world participated and showed their excellence. Not just beauty, but AI like Layli, Zara, and other AI influencers advocate for different causes and try to bring about change by unleashing their technological potential. This marked a major step, as the creators of these AI influencers also got recognized for creating digital personalities with human-like details. As the field of technology improves, we can expect more rapid changes in the future.
