You can’t fly kite in India, here’s why!

According to The Aircraft Act (1934), flying kites in India is illegal and is a punishable offence.

Kya aapko pata hai ki India mein patang udana illegal hai?

Shocking, par ye sach hai.

According to The Aircraft Act 1934 kisi bhi aircraft ko udane ke liye aapko permit chahiye aur “Aircraft” ko define kiya gaya hai as "any machine which can derive support in the atmosphere from reactions of air" jaise ki airships, gliders, patang! yahan tak ki BALLOONS BHI!

Bina permit ke patang udane pe aapko 2 saal ki jail, ya 10 lakh rupay fine ya dono ki saza mil sakti hai.

2008 mein ammendment ke baad bhi saza aur badha di gayi.

Kitna weird hai na? Hamare-aapke families mein kai generations se log, khas kar Makar Sankranti par, patang udaate aa rahe hai – aur ye illegal hai !

Weird .. but true..

Aur chunki ye ek traditional ritual bhi hai hamare desh mein isliye is ban ko puri tarah se implement karna itna aasaan nahi.
