In a fresh letter to the country from Delhi's Tihar jail, former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia expressed that he would soon walk out of jail.

Manish Sisodia compared his imprisonment with atrocities committed by Britishers against freedom fighters and emphasised they too are fighting for good education and schools.

He emphasised that to be a developed country, good education and schools are necessary.

"The dream of independence came true even after the British dictatorship. During the freedom struggle, everyone fought the battle. Similarly, we are fighting for free, good education and schools. The British were also very proud of their power. The British also used to put people in jail on false charges. The British kept Gandhi in jail for many years. The British also jailed Nelson Mandela. These people are my inspiration, and you all are my strength. To be a developed country, it is necessary to have good education and schools. I am happy that the education revolution took place in Delhi under the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal," Manish Sisodia wrote.

"My love for you all increased further after being in jail. You took a lot of care of my wife. Seema gets emotional talking about all of you. You all take care of yourselves,” he further wrote.

Several senior party leaders, including Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal have been arrested by the Enforcement Directorate and the CBI in alleged Delhi liquor policy scam.
