Suspended JD(S) leader and Karnataka MP Prajwal Revanna, accused in the sex tapes case, will leave for Bengaluru from Munich in Germany on May 30, PTI quoted official sources as saying. Prajwal is expected to land in Bengaluru in the early hours of May 31.

Sources said personnel from the Special Investigation Team (SIT), which is probing the case, are maintaining vigil at the Kempegowda airport and will arrest the 33-year-old MP as soon as he lands.

Prajwal, who is the NDA candidate from the Hassan Lok Sabha seat, had left the country in April as explicit video clips showing him allegedly sexually abusing multiple women started making the rounds in Karnataka. Hassan went to polls in the second phase on April 26.
