A BJP leader and a polling agent were arrested on Wednesday after the former livestreamed his video from inside a polling booth in Gujarat's Dahod on May 7, when the polling for the third phase of Lok Sabha elections was held.

Now being widely shared on social media, the video showed Bhabhor using abusive language, as he voted for the Lok Sabha polls. A polling agent with the BJP leader was seen encouraging him, while the staff at the booth appealed to both of them to maintain calm.

Later, a video showed Vijay Bhabhor in police custody.

Commenting on the video, a police official confirmed action against the BJP leader was taken after he livestreamed the video on his Instagram handle.
