Elvish Yadav Confesses To Arranging Snake Venom at Rave Parties a Day After His Arrest: Report

JJ News Desk

Elvish Yadav admitted to arranging snake venom for rave parties just hours after his arrest, a new report has claimed. Elvish Yadav, a YouTuber and the winner of Bigg Boss OTT 2, was arrested on Sunday in Noida. He was accused of supplying snake venom to parties. On Monday, it was reported that Elvish has admitted to his crimes. He also added that he knew the people who were arrested last year in connection with the same case.

A police source told NDTV that Elvish ‘admitted to arranging snakes and snake venom’ at rave parties he has organised in the past. The insider added that the YouTuber also ‘admitted that he had met the accused at different rave parties and was in contact with them.’ Elvish had previously denied the claims.

Following the confession, Elvish now faces charges under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. The law under Section 29 deals with buying and selling of drugs. It is reported that getting a bail under this law is tough.

Elvish’s name first popped up in connection with the snake venom case last year. A group of 5 people were arrested in connection with a rave party last November. During a raid in Noida sector 49, the police recovered nine snakes, which included five cobras and seized about 20 ml of snake venom. The case was lodged under provisions of the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972 and for criminal conspiracy under section 120B of the Indian Penal Code.

At the time, the arrested group claimed that they supplied snakes and snake venom to Elvish for his parties. However, Elvish had denied it at the time. He was questioned on November 7, 2023, in connection to the case and claimed the snakes were supplied to the rave party in Noida by singer Fazilpuria.

However, on Sunday, March 17, the police arrested Elvish. He was taken into judicial custody and will reportedly remain in custody for 14 days.
