JJ News Desk

Delhi Police on Sunday detained a man in Rohini after a complaint that he had written slogans hailing Pakistan on the wall of his flat.

Videos have surfaced on social media, allegedly showing locals displaying posters that were put up on the wall of his flat.

"We got information from locals that a man staying in the Avantika C-Block area of Rohini wrote some slogans supporting Pakistan on the wall of his flat. Initial investigation suggested that the man is not mentally stable and stays in the flat alone," a senior police officer was quoted as saying by news agency PTI in its report.

The police are currently probing if the man had any links with Pakistan or any other group, the officer stated.

In this regard, the police contacted his relatives to find out more about him.

Meanwhile, the police had seized the objectionable poster and banners from his flat.
