A Delhi court granted bail to RJD chief and former Bihar chief minister Lalu Prasad Yadav and his sons, RJD leaders Tejashwi Yadav and Tej Pratap Yadav in the land-for-jobs case on Monday.

Special Judge Vishal Gogne granted bail to them on bonds of Rs 1 lakh each, and noted that they were not arrested during the investigation of the case, news agency PTI reported.

Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court further directed all three accused to surrender their passports.

Lalu Prasad Yadav, who was the union railway minister from 2004 to 2009, was accused of recruiting people for Group-D jobs in the West Central Zone of the railways, based in Madhya Pradesh's Jabalpur, on the condition that they gift or transfer parcels of lands in either his name of in the name of his family or associates.
