A case has been registered against Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje in Karnataka on Thursday on the directions of the Election Commission.

Karandlaje came under fire from the Opposition over her remarks over the Bengaluru's Rameshwaram Cafe blast, where she blamed "Tamilians" for coming to Karnataka to plant bombs.
