Video shows Mumbai couple romancing on moving scooter, Internet is furious

JJ News Desk

A couple in Mumbai was captured on camera performing a risky stunt on their scooter. The video, which has gone viral, shows them engaging in a public display of affection (PDA) while navigating through the bustling streets of Bandra Reclamation Road.

The footage shared on X by Bandra Buzz, reveals the couple in a tight embrace, with the woman seated inversely on her partner's lap, both partially concealed under a shawl. This act of intimacy on a moving vehicle not only flouted social norms but also raised serious concerns about road safety, as neither individual was wearing a helmet.

“This daring duo was spotted at Bandra Reclamation, turning heads with their unconventional scooter ride. @MumbaiPolice we kindly request your attention to ensure everyone's safety on the roads,” reads the caption.

The video, recorded by a fellow commuter, sparked an uproar on social media platforms, where users expressed their outrage and called for immediate police intervention.

This is not the first time that such an incident was recorded on a busy street. A video showing a couple hugging each other while riding a scooter on the roads of Delhi went viral last year as well.
