A video of a disabled Zomato agent riding a bike to deliver food orders has won hearts online. Despite the loss of both his hands, the delivery agent is seen confidently navigating his scooter in the video which has now gone viral on social media.

The video, shared by a user on X, opens with a passer-by documenting the agent in action as he pauses to ask, “Chala lete ho, uncle? [Are you able to ride the bike?].

The delivery agent responded with a humble nod and a million-dollar smile.

Since being posted online, the video has clocked over 16,000 views so far, with users flooding the comments section of the post to applaud the delivery agent’s courage.

“Respect for such heroes. They are real-life heroes,” a user said, adding, “They remind us not to blame circumstances.”

Another user noted, “Hats off to his courage, but he should wear a helmet for safety.”

"God bless the hero who has defied all the odds life has given him. True Hero. Salute to you sir," a user said, while another added, "Resilient against resistance."

As mentioned by one of the users, the delivery agent must wear a helmet. It is to be noted that people with hand loss or limb disabilities could face challenges when wearing helmets. However, solutions like artificial limbs, also known as prosthetic limbs, and other sensor-based helmets are available.

While such stories truly remind us of the everyday heroes who, unfettered by obstacles, inspire others with their sheer perseverance and spirit, it is essential to remember that while driving or riding a bike one must adhere to the traffic rules.
