Luxury sports car manufacturer Automobili Lamborghini sold over 10,000 units during a calendar year for the first time in its history at 10,112 units in 2023, registering a growth of 10% year-on-year (y-o-y).
In 2023, the Italian brand also celebrated its 60th anniversary.
While the largest contribution to the volume came from the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region at 3,987 units, the company sold 3,465 units in the Americas and 2,660 units in the Asia–Pacific (APAC) region.
The EMEA region witnessed a growth of 14% y-o-y in sales in 2023. The volume rose 9% y-o-y in the Americas and 4% y-o-y in the APAC region during the year.
The United States of America continued as the top market with 3,000 cars delivered, followed by Germany (961 cars), China (845 cars), the United Kingdom (801 cars), Japan (660 cars), the Middle East (496 cars), South Korea (434 cars), Italy (409 cars), Canada (357 cars), Australia (263 cars), France & Monaco (255 cars), Switzerland (211 cars), Taiwan (131 cars) and India (103 cars).
In terms of model split, the Urus continued to lead at 6,087 units, followed by the Huracan at 3,962 units. Also, 63 cars equipped with the V12 were delivered, including the last 12 Aventadors and 51 few-offs.
In 2023, Lamborghini launched the Revuelto, the first V12 high-performance electrified vehicle (HPEV) hybrid super sports car, with orders already covering production into late 2026.
Besides, the company also unveiled the Lamborghini Lanzador concept car and debuted the Lamborghini SC63, the LMDh category racing car that will run in the FIA World Endurance Championship and the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship in 2024.
