Rajasthan family kills woman, burns her body for marrying against their wish

A 24-year-old woman in Rajasthan's Jhalawar was killed by her own family for marrying a man of her choice.

According to the details, the woman was abducted by her family members in front of her husband. She was later killed, and her body was burnt at a cremation ground.

Investigations into the case revealed the woman had married one Ravi Bheel against her family's wishes.

The couple stayed at different locations to escape the wrath of their family members.

The woman was abducted after her family members received information that the couple would be visiting a bank in a Madhya Pradesh village.

Her body was burnt while her husband approached the police to file a complaint.

The woman's body was more than 80 per cent burnt by the time the police reached the spot.

Her family members fled the spot.

The woman's burnt remains were sent to the forensics for further investigation.
