Heavy rainfall in Pune on Friday triggered a man to pull off an antic that has gone viral on social media as he was seen floating on a mattress on a waterlogged road. Read that again if you may, but it is true. Urmi, an X user, posted a video of the man that has made social media users laugh out loud.
In the 15-second clip, the man stationed himself on a mattress of sorts and was seen having the time of his life, surfing on the waterlogged road.
“Pune people got no chill,” reads the caption of the post.
The comments on the viral video are absolutely hilarious. “Eco-friendly mode of transportation,” a user said. Another comment reads, “Inka bhi kuch alag hi swag hai.”
The arrival of the southwest monsoon in Maharashtra on Thursday brought relief to the state, particularly in areas enduring intense heat and severe water scarcity, news agency PTI reports.
India Meteorological Department (IMD) scientist Sunil Kamble said the monsoon has reached Sindhudurg district in south Konkan and Sangli and Kolhapur in western Maharashtra.
