Portion of building collapses in Delhi's Karol Bagh, several feared trapped

At least five fire tenders were rushed to the spot shortly after the incident on Wednesday morning.

A portion of a two-storey residential building in Delhi's Karol Bagh area collapsed on Wednesday. Several people are feared to be trapped in the debris.

The Delhi Fire Services rushed five tenders to the spot to assist in the search and rescue operations.

A call regarding the collapse was received at 9.11 am today.

In a similar incident last month, three people were injured after a dilapidated building, which was being demolished for reconstruction, collapsed during heavy showers in Delhi’s Model Town.
