The Tata Group-owned Vistara Airline has been facing severe criticism by passengers as it has been hit by multiple flight cancellations and delays in the last few days. The airlines on Monday issued a statement confirming the inconvenience and said that teams are working to stabilise the situation.
"We confirm that we have had a number of flight cancellations and unavoidable delays in the last few days due to various operational reasons. Our teams are tirelessly working to stabilising the situation. We regret the inconvenience caused to our valued customers due to these disruptions," Vistara said in an official statement following backlash by passengers.
Several irate passengers took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and shared their ordeal over delays and cancellations.
Among them was former Infosys Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Mohandas Pai, who expressed his outrage over a delayed Bangalore to Ahmedabad Vistara flight.
