A group of armed men opened fire outside a nightclub in Delhi’s Seemapuri on September 5 to intimidate the club owner and extort money. The incident was recorded on CCTV.

The footage shows the four men arriving at Kaanch club, fully armed. Three of them stormed into the nightclub while one of them stood outside and threatened the club’s bouncers, including a female bouncer, forcing them to kneel.

Shortly afterward, two of the attackers began firing rounds indiscriminately into the air, creating panic among those present.

The shooters fired more than a dozen bullets before fleeing the scene. Eyewitnesses reported that the attackers also held the female bouncer at gunpoint, placing a pistol to her head, further escalating the terror.

Preliminary investigations suggest the motive behind the attack could be linked to the club's refusal to pay extortion money.

The Delhi Police have since registered a case under the Arms Act, and the identities of the attackers have been confirmed. A manhunt is currently underway, with police conducting raids in various locations to bring the culprits to justice.
