In a horrifying incident in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, high-speed vehicles continuously passed over a man after he was involved in an accident.

By the time the police reached the spot on Tuesday, the body was beyond recognition. Only some parts of the body were recovered by the police team at the scene in the Web City area on National Highway.

Cops are yet to identify the victim.

On Tuesday morning, when the NH 9 cleaning team arrived at the national highway, they were shocked to find a corpse in a mutilated condition.

The information about the incident was reported to the local police by the NHAI team, after which the police arrived at the scene and collected the remnants of the body for post-mortem. Now, along with the efforts to identify the body, the police are conducting an investigation into the sequence of events.

Police are saying that the death may have occurred due to a pedestrian crossing the road being hit by a high-speed vehicle. After that, high-speed vehicles passing continuously ran over the body, and no vehicle driver bothered to stop.

The continuous passage of vehicles over the body caused the body to be in a completely mutilated condition.

The police team has gathered the parts of the body stuck on the National Highway in a mutilated condition and sent them for post-mortem.
