Marathi actor denied hotel room for being transgender

Marathi actor Pranit Hatte shared a video on Instagram and spoke about being denied a hotel room for being transgender. Pranit mentioned that they booked a room in a hotel called the Hotel Pooja International, and the staff cancelled the booking after knowing that they were a transgender.

Pranit shared their anger and frustration regarding the room booking cancellation with a video on Instagram. They even shared the documents with the hotel authorities. The authorities informed them that they had cancelled their booking because of the actor’s gender preference.

In her video, Pranit says in Marathi, “Where should we go?”. Angered and frustrated with the behaviour of the hotel staff, Pranit asked fans for suggestions and solutions. In the clip, Hatte shared their concern regarding the attitude of such people towards transgenders. They mentioned that they were in Nashik for work and that behavior of the people towards the transgender community should change.
