Man asks Delhi Police to help him ‘find a girlfriend’. Their witty reply is hilarious

JJ News Desk

Delhi Police made social media users laugh out loud with their witty response to a man who asked them to help him “find a girlfriend”. On Delhi Police’s World No Tobacco Day post, X user Shivam Bhardwaj responded with a hilarious comment that had no connection with the original message.

“Meri girlfriend kab banwaoge? Main abhi signal Hoon Delhi police. This is not fair you should help me to find a girlfriend for me (When will you help me find a girlfriend? I am signal, Delhi Police),” Shivam said in his post. As for the "signal" part in his post, Shivam seemingly meant that he is currently single.

Soon after Delhi Police responded to Shivam’s query, their reply went viral with over 23,000 views. Social media users had a hearty laugh as Delhi Police’s response was labeled “epic” by most.

Delhi Police has 1 million followers on X and over 4 lakh followers on Instagram. Through witty posts and creatives, Delhi Police often spreads awareness regarding several subjects including road safety and cyber safety.

Earlier this week, Delhi Police warned against drunk-driving with a post inspired by the web-series ‘Panchayat’.

“Your social media marketing team should get an award for amazing content,” is an opinion that several users often reiterate in the comments section of Delhi Police’s posts.

True that!
