International Drug Syndicate Leader Captured in Delhi; Rs 13 Crore Worth of Cocaine Confiscated

The Delhi Police have searched and found out about an international drug network and arrested its leader, Gnahore Serge Pacome, from a hideout in Sunlight Colony. The Anti-Narcotics Squad seized 1.32 kg of cocaine, which is worth Rs 13 crore in the global market.

Pacome, a 35-year-old from Ivory Coast, came to India on a 6-month visitor visa in March 2022. The police revealed that he had been running a drug operation and supplying cocaine since arriving. Cocaine is sourced and exported from outside India, so there is a possibility that Pacome has connections with international suppliers. The police are investigating these links, according to Rajesh Deo, Deputy Commissioner of Police in South East Delhi.

The investigation into Pacome began after the arrest of two Nigerian cocaine dealers. Nene Chukwa and Livinus Uche on June 15. During a raid in Hari Nagar Ashram, the police found 386 grams of cocaine, and the two dealers named Pacome as their supplier. A subsequent raid on July 24 at Pacome’s hideout in Sunlight Colony led to his arrest. Although he attempted to escape, he was captured by the anti-narcotics squad.

At his flat, the police recovered 1.321 kg of pure cocaine, seven mobile phones, a scooter, and Rs 11,900 in cash. Pacome has been charged under Section 21 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act and Section 14 of the Foreigners Act at the Sunlight Colony police station.

Pacome, who lived with his mother in Ivory Coast, has been involved in illegal activities since he was young. Despite his visa expiring in September 2022, he remained in India to continue his drug business. The police are now working to establish his connections to other drug-related crimes.
